Little Giveaway

As the Loopholes by Badschnoodles facebook page is picking up a few more fans now – thanks largely to the Link Love movement – I decided to have a little giveaway. Almost as soon as I decided to do this, I was made aware of the Facebook guidelines on promotions which mean that basically unless you spend about $10,000 on advertising you can’t have a giveaway. Well, I don’t have $10,000 so that’s that! (And even if I did have that much money, I wouldn’t want to spend it just so I could give a pair of gloves away.)
So, I decided to run the giveaway through this blog instead.



I have a pair of fingerless gloves (designed by Creative Yarn and made by me) and a crochet rose brooch (designed and made by me) to give away. All you have to do to be in with a chance of winning is to leave a comment here with a name and some way for me to get in touch with you. The rules of facebook state that you can’t use their messaging system to send notices to winners so it will have to be via twitter or via an email address. If you don’t want to leave your email on a public forum, please send it to Claire (a) badschnoodles dot com with something in there to tell me which comment is yours.

If you tweet about the give-away you can have another entry so include @badschnoodles in your tweet.



You do not have to be a fan on facebook or follow me on twitter or the blog – (although if you do/are that’s great of course) just leave a comment on this post.

The draw will take place on 10th April with the winner being notified by whatever method they have given me. I will also post the name here. It will be a very low-tech affair involving names written on bits of paper pulled out of a hat or bag…
